In Sanskrit the word for oil is “sneha”, which is also the same word used to describe tender aection and love. The eects of Abhyanga are similar to the eect of saturation with love. Or to be embraced by love. Both experiences can give us the feeling of warmth, stability and comfort.
Abhyanga massage is a gift to yourself as a ritual of self love and care. It has been known to ease our bodies of tension and pain, our minds left calm by the repetitive soothing and therapeutic touch over the whole body, with added benefits of better sleep, stress reduction and improved circulation.

Brian’s journey with massage began early, inspired by watching his grandmother give neck and shoulder treatments to his mother. In his twenties, travels through Thailand and India deepened his interest in healing, where he studied Reiki and developed a lifelong passion for yoga and meditation during time spent at an ashram in the Himalayas.

A snowboarding injury in 2011 led Brian to retrain at the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage, completing a 700-hour holistic spa therapy program that included Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Reflexology and Aromatherapy. His dedication to healing evolved further in 2023 when he moved to Victoria to study at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, graduating in 2025.

Brian brings calm, curiosity, and intuition to his treatments, integrating anatomy and fascia knowledge with a holistic approach. Outside of massage, he’s an avid yogi who finds balance in nature-on the ocean, in the forest, or in the mountains.

I have been a student of yoga, sound healing and meditation for many years. These practices have played a vital role in who I am today. And the ever evolving way I show up in the world. I am a certified Modo Teacher 2011, (a hot hatha yoga modality), yin yoga teacher (2012) and vinyasa yoga teacher (2012). I have attended many meditation retreats and feel connected to the Zen meditation community. I am a certified and accredited sound practitioner and sound therapist. I have completed trainings and workshops with my teachers in Costa Rica and Victoria. I am a certified reiki practitioner (2015) and newly accredited (2023) Abhyanga massage therapist.

There is something very special in working with energy, vibration and physical rhythms within an Abhyanga massage that I am so excited to offer. As all these practices have impacted and benefited my life. I extend these teachings and offerings to all who are on this complex path as humans. I offer my hands and heart to be of service to all who want to connect deeply to themselves, to come home to their wholeness and true nature.
